CoinPoker launches the first Global Online Poker Championship (GOPC) tomorrow, Sunday, August 23: a 37-day series running until September 28, 2026 with $50,000,000 guaranteed and more than 700 medal events. It is the biggest series the room has ever scheduled.
The GOPC is built for players worldwide: core events repeat at prime time for Europe, Latin America and Asia, and most come in three buy-in tiers. Buy-ins range from $2.20 to $25,500, across Hold’em and Omaha tournaments.

How the GOPC works
Each core event runs on three schedules — Europe, Latin America and Asia — so you can play it in your time zone, and in three buy-in tiers (low, mid and high). The top three in every official event win a Gold, Silver or Bronze medal, and results count towards your regional team and the series leaderboards.
Three Main Events: $4.25 million guaranteed
The GOPC is anchored by three Main Events with multiple Day 1 flights during the series. The $530 event closes the festival on September 28; the two more affordable versions finish a week earlier.

Guarantees and Day 2 dates from the official schedule published before the series.
| Event | Buy-in | Guarantee | Day 2 |
|---|---|---|---|
| Main Event | $530 | $3,000,000 | September 28, 17:30 UTC |
| Global Main | $55 | $1,000,000 | September 21, 17:30 UTC |
| Global Mini Main | $11 | $250,000 | September 21 |
The $530 Main Event spreads its Day 1 flights across the series, with several concentrated on Sundays. The Global Main and Global Mini Main have flights on most days, usually three a day to cover all three regions.
CoinMillion: four $1,000,000 editions
CoinPoker’s flagship Sunday tournament gets four GOPC editions, each with a $215 buy-in and $1,000,000 guaranteed: Sundays September 6, 13, 20 and 27. The September 6 edition is joined by the CoinMinion ($55, $250,000 guaranteed) and the Mini CoinMinion ($11, $100,000 guaranteed).
High rollers and championships
For high buy-ins, the GOPC schedules championships with guarantees of up to $1,000,000. These are the main ones with an announced date:

Bankroll Boosts: $130,000 for players who miss the money
The GOPC sets aside $130,000 in tournament tickets and personalised missions for players who do not cash: non-cashing entries build progress and unlock tickets for another shot. Together with the regional leaderboards and the Podium Race, they make up the series’ $350,000 in added value.
How to qualify
From a satellite to the final table
Every GOPC tournament has a cheaper route in than the direct buy-in.
- 01Find the event in the tournaments tab of the CoinPoker client and filter by the region that suits your time zone.
- 02Play a satellite: every tournament in the series can be reached through satellites, including freerolls, with direct satellites from $5.50.
- 03Check the flight, the UTC start time and the buy-in tier before registering; the Main Events have several Day 1s.
- 04Track your progress on the regional leaderboards and the Podium Race from the lobby.
